"Equifest and NPS 2009"
The team enjoyed great success at the Equifest
Show at East of England Showground. Rignel Brora
won the 4/5/6 year old Ridden Championship,
the Mountain and Moorland In Hand Championship
and the stood Reserve Supreme M & M of Show.
she will now be having a very relaxing Winter
in preparation for 2010

Eleanor's sister Jessica who is the one you
see running behind Eleanor as her slave showed
her sister that she too can have success and
was placed a very commendable 9th in the M &
M Junior Ridden Class at the NPS Summer Championship
riding Lochlands Banjo

Rignel Brora
Attended the Royal Highland Show where were
3rd in the Yeld Mare In Hand Class and 6th in
the Ridden, Unfortunately we slipped over in
the Hoys Ridden on the Sunday - typical highland
!!!

We then went to NPS Area
7 Show where we were In Hand Champion and qualified
for the British Isles and Silver Medal Finals
at NPS Championship Show.
Finally extremely happy with our 8th at RIHS
out of a strong field of 28.

success but plenty of blue ones!
Rignel Brora qualified for
RIHS at her first attempt at BSPS Winter Champs
on a 2nd but out of a huge class of 27 - we
were thrilled
Since then we have only been

with second places across the board! - this
includes Eleanor's sister Jess riding Lochlands
Banjo in a couple of junior ridden qualifiers

Lochlands Principal Flute
is busy with visiting mares but we intend to
bring him out under saddle later this year
NEWS FROM JANUARY 2009
"Not much in way of
news to report this winter, ponies have mostly
wintered out except for Rignel Brora and Lochlands
Banjo. Banjo has been regularly hunting with
the Bicester and a couple of our older riders
have their eye on him for themselves next season!!
- a hariy highland hunting who behaves with
the best of manners is obviously quite intriguing
Brora carries on her ridden work, mostly due
to keeping her waistline down - As you can see
from the attached photos she is also proving
to be a very good first ridden - mia (her 7
year old jockey) reckons she is going cantering
around the field next time!

Resident Stallion Lochlands
Principal Flute is roughing it out with his
field companion Flaurie of Stanford
but is in fine fettle and
looks forward to his visitng mares in the Spring"
