Rignel Brora qualified for RIHS at her first attempt at BSPS Winter Champs on a 2nd but out of a huge class of 27 - we were thrilled

Since then we have only been to NPS Area 13, BSPS Area 7 and NPS Area XI with second places across the board! - this includes Eleanor's sister Jess riding Lochlands Banjo in a couple of junior ridden qualifiers

Lochlands Principal Flute is busy with visiting mares but we intend to bring him out under saddle later this year

NEWS FROM JANUARY 2009

"Not much in way of news to report this winter, ponies have mostly wintered out except for Rignel Brora and Lochlands Banjo. Banjo has been regularly hunting with the Bicester and a couple of our older riders have their eye on him for themselves next season!! - a hariy highland hunting who behaves with the best of manners is obviously quite intriguing

Brora carries on her ridden work, mostly due to keeping her waistline down - As you can see from the attached photos she is also proving to be a very good first ridden - mia (her 7 year old jockey) reckons she is going cantering around the field next time!

Resident Stallion Lochlands Principal Flute is roughing it out with his field companion Flaurie of Stanford
